Fredericton, Moncton gets the nod in MoneySense's Best Places to Live 2010

MoneySense Magazine published their annual Best Places to Live index, and two east coast communities have made the Top 10.  In their April issue, Fredericton and Moncton, New Brunswick were awarded the 4th and 5th best places to live in Canada, respectively.  Ottawa was crowned the #1 spot while Halifax and Toronto were ranked at #14 and #85 out of 179 communities. Canada Games Torch lights up Parliament Hill

The Halifax 2011 Canada Games torch made its debut at the official torch lighting ceremony on the first of May 3 in Ottawa. The 2011 torch was lit from the centennial flame monument. The event included performances by Jimmy Rankin and members of Halifax’s Sacred Heart Concert Choir. Read more
