NBJobs.ca campaign, organizational fund launched to retain young talent

Business New Brunswick Minister Greg Byrne unveiled the Government of New Brunswick's new campaign to retain young professional talent within the province. Titled "Be In This Place and Visit NBJobs.ca", NB has also earmarked a $200,000 fund for youth initiatives:

The funding can be used for various youth initiatives and for efforts to increase the awareness of opportunities for youth in communities.

The source says eligible applicants include New Brunswick municipalities, incorporated rural communities and non-profit organizations.

Speaking at St. Thomas University in Fredericton on Monday, Minister Byrne stated that the fund will "complement" the NBJobs.ca campaign perfectly and assist in "helping young people stay and helping make our province self-sufficient."
