Great Big Sea poised to win first Juno

After 16 years in the business and 10 previous nominations, Great Big Sea is 'cautiously optimistic' about returning from the Juno Awards with any hardware.

Their current tour in support of the band's 10th album, Fortune's Favour, started last June with the release of the record. Its final leg opened last week in the Maritimes and wraps up March 29 in Vancouver with an appearance on the Juno Awards. The band has been nominated for best group.

Other acts nominated in this category include Nickleback, Tokyo Police Club and fellow Atlantic Canadians The Trews. Who will rock and who will reel? Find out Sunday March 29th CTV.
