In an intimate ceremony with family, friends and Dalhousie professors and staff, ECC president and founder Chris Crowell received the Dalhousie University received the Young Alumni of the Year Award.

This award recognizes recent Dalhousie University graduates for success or interesting, unusual or innovative accomplishments in career, public or personal life, and/or notable contributions to society, a local community or to Dalhousie.

Chris was nominated for this award by Dr. David Wheeler. Dr. Wheeler has been a trusted advisor and mentor to East Coast Connected, making the nomination particularly poignant for Chris and the East Coast Connected team.
