The East Coast Army, which was launched by Ret. Major General Rick Hillier in November, officially held thier first event at Grace O’Malley’s on February 26, 2009.

A mix of seasoned ECC and new ECA recruits donned their uniforms for the evening - the East Coast Army t-shirts, making Gracie’s a sea of army green as they rocked out to Haligonian band, Shaydid.

Good times where had, and an even better cause benefited from a great night out with funds from the sociable going to the IWK Children’s Hospital in Halifax.

The Army returns to Gracie’s on March 26th for another evening of east coast music in support of the IWK. New recruits are welcome to come out and get reacquainted with old friends, meet new ones, and listen to another east coast music sensation, Wreckhouse.
