Bill Clinton hits Halifax and St. John’s May 28
Former U.S. president Bill Clinton will speak at Mile One Stadium in St John’s and The Cunard Centre in Halifax on a whirlwind speaking tour this spring.
Frank McKenna, deputy chairman of TD Bank Financial Group and former New Brunswick premier, will moderate a Q & A following his speech.
“I believe the truest measure of a leader is to watch how he or she transitions from an elected position to one of true leadership," Mr. McKenna said in the release.
“President Clinton personifies this and is truly a global leader, icon and humanitarian. He continues to dedicate himself to public service through his charitable work, bringing attention and compassion to international issues. It is an honour to be able to experience his vision first-hand.”
Mr. Clinton will appear from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m.
