The new St George's Men and Boys Choir, under the direction of Nick Halley, will perform its début concert, featuring choral music from the last eight centuries and Irish folk songs about the sea. The concert will begin with an ancient and stunning Gregorian chant and move through pieces by Byrd, Stanford, Howells, and Halifax’s own Paul Halley.

All proceeds from the concert will go to support the work of the choir. The concert is followed by a reception in the church hall.
