The urge to purge
I'm getting that old familiar feeling. It seems to strike me as the seasons turn. Summer clothes need to be sorted and packed away, winter clothes will go front and centre. Miscellaneous stuff needs to be organized or ejected. It’s time to clean and purge.

Argentine driver Falaschi, 22, killed on last lap of race
BALCARCE, Argentina (AP) — Argentine driver Guido Falaschi has been killed in a crash at Juan Manuel Fangio track during the final lap of a race in the most popular motor sport competition in the South American country.
Race officials and a doctor confirmed the death Sunday of the 22-year-old Falaschi in the event known as Turismo de Carretera.

MONTREAL — How much independent Internet providers — known for their unlimited plans — will pay to use the networks of big telecom companies will be in the spotlight again with a CRTC decision on Tuesday.
The federal regulator will issue a new ruling on how much large network providers such as Bell can charge for the use of their networks after a consumer backlash and concern from federal government last winter.
Economist accepts huge task in Italy
ROME — Economist Mario Monti accepted the monumental task Sunday of trying to form a new government that can rescue Italy from financial ruin, expressing confidence that the nation can beat the crisis if its people pull together.
His selection came a day after Silvio Berlusconi reluctantly resigned as premier, bowing out after world markets pummeled Italy’s borrowing ability, reflecting a loss of faith in the 75-year-old media mogul’s leadership. Berlusconi quit after the Italian parliament approved new reform measures demanded by the European Union and central bank officials — but even those are not considered enough to right Italy’s ailing economy.
