Acadia University
Founded in 1838, Acadia University’s beginning was the result of the commitment and enthusiasm of a community determined to build a university. Acadia was built on the belief that everyone has a right to higher education, regardless of class, belief, gender, or race. This spirit continues to guide the university today. The University also has the distinction of being the only Canadian university inducted into the Smithsonian Institution for its pioneering use of technology in the classroom.
Acadia University has been a proud supporter of East Coast Connected since 2008.
